Hot Work Permit Procedures

• Course:
  The course is design to understand serious hazards in “special” work circumstances. The application of this procedure is intended to cover: work which contains risk of fire or explosion, work which may pose a threat, or work which poses the threat of injury/damage/loss to Company personnel, product, or property. The course covers the topics such as; requesting the hot work permit, issuance of the hot work permit, change of shift, completion of hot work permit, and responsibilities of Supervisor and Managers

  $10/per person

• How long is the course?
  This course has been approved for 1 hours.

• Why do I need this course?
  The course once completed will help the student understand the adequate control of serious hazards in the workplace.

• What do I get when I pass the course?
  A training certificate is issued

• How is my course completion reported?
  You may print out your completion certification unless you have been notified otherwise

• Is there a final exam at the end of the course?
  Yes.  Final Exam must be passed with a 75% to pass the course.

• What is the passing grade?
  Final Exam must be passed with a 75% to pass the course. The final exam can be taken three times if necessary
  

• Does the final have multiple choice questions or true/false?
  Multiple choice

• How many questions does the final consist of?
  16 Questions

• Is the final test timed?
  No.  The assessment is NOT-TIMED; you have an unlimited time period for the assessment

• Can you refer back to the course material while taking the quizzes and the final exam?
  No.  Closed notes exam.  Take good notes for each lesson

• How many times can we attempt to pass the final exam?
  Three attempts are allowed

• How much time do we have from the date of registration to complete the course?
  Courses do not have a time restriction.
